Scott Costner

Scott's love for fitness came at an early age with his involvement in youth sports such as soccer, baseball, golf and water skiing. If you know Scott, if it involves being on the move, he's in! Growing up, Scott loved going to practice…baseball, soccer, you name it. He especially loved going to school early to workout with Coach Scarborough who was an early mentor and friend. Scarborough taught his athletes how to weight train and gave them an initial introduction into the world of speed, agility and quickness training. Scott was immediately hooked. The hard work and dedication of his team doing these workouts eventually had them winning the State Soccer Championship. After attending Lassiter High School in Marietta, Scott graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Economics.

Scott is equally passionate about the role nutrition plays in overall health coupled with good fitness. When Scott was training as a young athlete, it became quickly apparent how proper nutrition directly correlated with his body's ability to perform in sports, energy levels, overall health and confidence. This true love for a healthy and active lifestyle has carried over into his adult years as he continues to stay active running, riding bikes, weightlifting, playing golf and chasing his three kids. All in the pursuit of healthy nutrition habits fueling a happy, healthy lifestyle.

After spending years in the corporate world selling products for Glaxo Smith Kline and Synthes, Scott realized his true passion in life is training adults and kids and nutrition coaching. He has seven years of experience owning and operating his own gym and currently works with kids in small group settings training them to maximize their athletic ability enabling them to reach their full potential. His speed, agility and quickness workouts improve reaction time, condition, increase speed, decrease the risk for injury and are also just plain fun. Scott also does one on one and group training with adults.

Scott's nutrition coaching involves educating both adults and children on the benefits of eating a healthy diet. One on one interaction teaches clients how to live a healthier life based off their own personal food preferences. His coaching goal for his clients is to help them implement permanent lifestyle changes and learn skills that are sustainable for the rest of their life vs. temporary dieting solutions.

Scott and his wife Tiffany have three children Jackson (11), Luke (10) and Taylor (4). They spend a lot of time out in the community watching and coaching their kids' various sports teams. They also enjoy hiking with their kids, going to the beach and spending time with family.
