Chad Hitchcock
Hello, I’m Chad. I'm a family man first, married to my wife Nikki for 9 years and we have 2 children (7 year old boy and 4 year old girl). I’m a big/tall guy who is a huge food and fitness lover. I may be intimidating to some at first sight, but you'll soon realize, I am actually a huge softy and a goofball. I’m a Certified Health Coach and a Certified Personal trainer through NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) training clients for the last 10+ years ..just to give you a few extra reasons to keep reading.
I am originally from CA and now live in Charleston, SC; it is great to be near the beach again! I played football and ran track in my college days. I also coached football and basketball for my local highschool from 2005-2010, competed in multiple CG Games prelims and even ran a few Spartan sprints.
When I’m not coaching, I am either in the gym, eating, spending time with my family or with my team of trainers. I love mentoring others and empowering them to be leaders in their circles. My two kids keep me active whether it's chasing my daughter as the "Tickle Monster", or going on dinosaur hunting safaris and running for my life with my son. Gotta love it!
At HitchFit, you will find that helping my clients understand how to fix their thoughts, habits, and relationship with food and their bodies is a top priority. This is why my clients will tell you that I am a top trainer. HitchFit will provide you with all the recipes you’ll ever need, paired with workout programs designed to meet each individual exactly where they are in their fitness journey. My goal for you through our time together is to break down those mental walls that you have put up that have kept you from achieving your goals. I want to empower you to pick up the torch that we will light together and take it down the path to your vision of success.
I have been bodybuilding for a little over 6 years; although it's not just boiled chicken and rice every meal, it can at times be restrictive. Over the years, I have learned that this is not the only way to eat to see amazing results. More importantly, you can actually ENJOY your food. I still eat nutrient dense food, but I also love pizza, chocolate peanut butter ice cream, and margaritas. You can enjoy all of these guilt free and still reach your goals with a macronutrient lifestyle. Nothing happens overnight, but if you allow me to help change your habits and mindset around nutrition and exercise it will lead to a lifelong and sustainable healthy way of life.
Now that you've made it this far, there's only one option.....
LET'S GO!
